Weekend trip: Seattle

In April, we spent a few magical days in Seattle. We visited:
  • Pike's Place
  • Capitol Hill
  • The Center for Wooden Boats
  • Museum of History and Industry
  • Experience Music Project
  • Bainbridge Island
  • Lake Union
  • Olympic Sculpture Park
And because Ben was there on a work trip, we stayed at the luxurious Hotel 1000. We'll miss these quick jaunts to Seattle now that he switched jobs.

I also found the worst museum exhibit ever at the Museum of History and Industry. The Great Seattle Fire of 1889 was one of the defining events in Seattle's development and this is how the museum chose to represent it:
