Photos: Skiing at Tahoe

The Nevada desert, just beyond our snow-covered mountains

They weren't kidding when they said Mott Canyon was steep. But not to worry, we made it down.

My first time in Nevada!

We finally got to see Lake Tahoe. Heavenly definitely wins in terms of views.

The sign says: California left, Nevada right

Ski buddy

Sporting all black. I'm the genius who remembered suntan lotion, a pocketknife and cookies, but forgot my ski jacket.

We could be in a brochure.

The morning drive from the south side to the north side of the lake

One of the few views of the lake

  1. Gorgeous photos! I've never seen that view contrasting the snow-topped mountain with the dessert. Very cool.

  2. Thanks! I have to say it was great having an iPhone. The camera is much better than the one on the Droid. I, of course, was terrified to handle the phone on the chairlift, fearing it's fall into the snow, but Ben was more sure-handed.

You think I would be able to edit comments on my own blog.
