Turns out we weren't the only ones impressed by our new wine stand. My friend Tom diagrammed the physics of how it works.

    @Karina - yes it's just a free-standing piece of wood that balances when there's a bottle in it. @Kim - You're just trying to make up for your earlier comment so I'll bring one back for you. @Dave - Would anyone think Tom is anything but a nerd?
